DOP meter for measuring the degree of polarization (DOP) of a light source

The degree of polarization (DOP) meter employs a rotating wave plate method to measure the DOP of light sources with high accuracy and wide dynamic range. The design ensures minimal signal disturbance, with energy variation less than 0.002 dB, compared to traditional methods that may cause variations around 0.02 dB. The DOP meter achieves a measurement accuracy of 0.1% with a resolution of 0.01% and a measurement speed of 0.5 seconds, making it ideal for detecting and monitoring the polarization degree of light sources.

For detailed polarization state analysis or high polarization measurements exceeding 90%, we recommend using the JW8611 or JW8610 models.
