JW8507A mechanical programmable optical attenuator provides precise attenuation control from either a PC or the front panel. Its updated mechanical structure and circuit design provide faster attenuation adjustment and a more compact form factor than the previous-generation design, while allowing more channels to be integrated into the system.

Available for both single-mode and multimode testing, this attenuator is suitable for optical attenuation testing during the R&D, production, and commissioning of fiber-optic communication systems, equipment, and test instruments.
