Integrated polarization testing platform for multi-channel PM fiber arrays and high-density optical interconnects

An integrated polarization test platform developed for high-density optical interconnects. The JW18000-PM multi-channel polarization extinction ratio test platform supports MT-FA and MT-MT assemblies and combines polarization extinction ratio (PER) measurement, a multi-channel optical light source (OLS), insertion loss (IL) measurement, polarization axis angle measurement, and analysis software in one system.

Designed for multi-channel polarization-maintaining fiber arrays, fiber array units (FAUs), ELSFP-related optical engine assemblies, and other advanced optical devices, the platform provides efficient polarization characterization for both production testing and R&D.

  • Integrated Multi-Channel Testing Platform
    A built-in multi-channel PM light source supports batch testing of 12- and 24-channel connectors and FAU arrays. PER, insertion loss, and polarization axis angle can be measured within the same platform, helping streamline production-line testing.
  • PER Measurement & Interface Compatibility
    Provides a PER dynamic range of up to 40 dB for evaluating different polarization-maintaining devices. The platform supports FC, LC, SC, FA, MPO, and MT interfaces, allowing it to accommodate a variety of component and connector configurations.
  • Multi-Channel Optical Field Detection
    A high-performance detector and polarization rotation structure enable optical field acquisition across multiple channels, supporting accurate and consistent PER measurements.
